City Lit Books (A favorite neighborhood bookstore that we have never walked out of empty-handed)
New Wave Coffee (Just good coffee in a chill atmosphere)
La Boulangerie & Co (Darn tasty croissants and pastries)
Consignment Lounge (A combination dive bar / cocktail lounge / thrift store that somehow works perfectly)

Chess Pavilion (Lakeside site of our first "I love you's". 25 months later, where Kit asked and Kailen said "Yes!")
Myopic Books (Wicker Park: Hands down the best bookstore in the city)
The Wormhole Coffee (Wicker Park: Awesome coffee with an awesome vibe)
Malliway Brothers (Rogers Park: Our go-to shop for magic supplies. Always smells really good inside)
Rogers Park Social (Rogers Park: Great cocktails if you are feeling a bit *fancy*)
Music Box Theatre (Indie theater that shows classic movies and fun midnight shows)
606 trail & Summit Woods (Our favorite places on both ends of the city to get outside)
